Last few days, Youtube indexing and search are crap. It's always like this as soon as they change something in their layout.

I've just searched for new york / sort by: upload date and last video indexed was 12 minutes ago. That's impossible.

Last few days I had some videos getting zero views for tags that gain 300+ views in half an hour. I've uploaded 5 videos tonight and 3 of them stuck on 0 views, only 2 were included in search. I hate this.

Seems like the hits to the videos are delayed.
My hits show after about an hour.
Weird.

When uploading music videos, i use a video then upload music from mp3.
So far so good.

It doesn't have anything with delayed views, the preal problem is in fact that it's pretty hard to get video indexed in youtube search so it doesn't get views at all

i guess it takes some time to get videos indexed , mine don`t even get indexed for couple of days , i guess that`s just the way it works

I have noticed this problem too. I got 1000 views per day 3 months ago and now I get only 20 views with same keywords. I guess that Utube ranks older account better nowadays and I think it's almost impossible to get high rankings with new account. For blackhatting utube is pretty much dead.

I have the same problem too. Bad news for my business.

I hope the problem is gone. Today I uploaded a few vids from the same account (by the way - a new one, registered today). And all of them works fine, the best one got 300+ views in 2 hours.

I can't see any difference between old and new YT accounts. Maybe it's because of my niche/keywords. A few days ago I had a significant drop in traffic from new accounts. Today my YT-traffic works again with normal (expected from my previous experience) speed.

As for multiple accounts - yes, they are trying to implement some restrictions. But I am sure that everybody who lives from YT-traffic knows some tricks to avoid restrictions.

Youtube is soooo huge, I am sure there are successful YT-marketers with quite opposite techniques and they all work for them. Everybody just needs to find a thing which works for HIM. Well, better if more than one thing :)
