Which proxies are good for these SEO software
I used storm proxies but now hearing that service being abused
what is the other good alternative?

Rotating proxies are better suited for scraping rather than posting, so if you use SEO software that uses a fixed database of sites or a pre-scraped site list, you're better off using standard private proxies. Plenty of providers in the marketplace here offer trials for you to try out. In the past I've had success with Buyproxies, Blazing SEO Proxies, Aqua networks, Webshare etc

Actually, I used backconnect rotation proxies of Storm proxies for rankerx with lots of success ..last year but now by reading forum comments I got confused

For private proxies I can recommend proxydeep I've used them and work like a charm

I do have to say the free ones Webshare (datacenter ips) lets you test out work pretty well. i actually use them here and there as the free signup gives you 10 IPs and 1GB/month to toy with them.

SmartProxy is decent but expensive and what they don't tell you is that there are many normal sites they will not proxy too. Make sure to find somewhere in their docs if it's one you are going to scrape otherwise you may find out after trying them. The list of big sites they won't let you get data from was surprising.

The service I'm testing right now I believe I'm hitting mostly residential proxies with many fails even on small scrapes. I haven't seen this with datacenter proxies so much, but how is everyone's experience with residential proxies and how many requests fail with proxies errors?
