MicroStrategy recently mentioned they would need to cover if Bitcoin drops to 22k or thereabout. It seemed it could not happen then because then, Bitcoin was above 30K. Here we are, with Celsius which holds more Bitcoin than Microstrategy in trouble, bringing Bitcoin price down to 24.5k, a mere 2.5k from Microstrategy's cover price. The way things are going, with Ukraine, the hawkishness of the Feds, 10k Bitcoin in a few weeks or months is looking like a real possibility.

This explains the email I received earlier this morning:

We are writing with a very important message for our community.

Due to extreme market conditions, today we are announcing that Celsius is pausing all withdrawals, Swap, and transfers between accounts. We are taking this action today to put Celsius in a better position to honor, over time, its withdrawal obligations.

Acting in the interest of our community is our top priority. In service of that commitment and to adhere to our risk management framework, we have activated a clause in our Terms of Use that will allow for this process to take place. Celsius has valuable assets and we are working diligently to meet our obligations.

We are taking this necessary action for the benefit of our entire community in order to stabilize liquidity and operations while we take steps to preserve and protect assets. Furthermore, customers will continue to accrue rewards during the pause in line with our commitment to our customers.

We understand that this news is difficult, but we believe that our decision to pause withdrawals, Swap, and transfers between accounts is the most responsible action we can take to protect our community. We are working with a singular focus: to protect and preserve assets to meet our obligations to customers. Our ultimate objective is stabilizing liquidity and restoring withdrawals, Swap, and transfers between accounts as quickly as possible. There is a lot of work ahead as we consider various options, this process will take time, and there may be delays.

We thank the incredible Celsius community for your support today. It is our pleasure to serve you. Our operations continue and we will continue to share information with the community as it becomes available.

Sincerely,
The Celsius team

RIP boys!

Buy 50 % at current price and then keep buying on every correction by 10%. You will own bitcoins at reduced cost which will soon go back to 60k.

But even it goes to $60k, that's 200% from the current price of $21.500. The All Time High of BTC is $70k

Cardano at $1.35 gives you a 200%. Current price $0.45. ATH is $3.10

Cronos at $0.33 gives you 200%. Current price $0.11. ATH is $0.96

We can talk about risk, but we can also talk about reward.

And let's not forget you can stake Cardano and Cronos and get 5-10% yearly rewards on your coins with 0 risk. Can't do that with Bitcoin, I don't think.

I love BTC, don't get me wrong. But at slightly higher risk one can potentially get much higher rewards in the long run. And I mentioned Cardano and Cronos because I don't see them doing a Luna any time soon.

Before the Luna incident, no one thought that Luna will meet this fate. After, it has happened, people are more aware. It is one thing taking risks and a completely different thing making irrational decisions for more profit.

It's FUBAR. Just hold tight. Maybe take up peeling pecans with your butt crack in the time being, because those cheeks are gonna be squeeeeezed.

Yeah but Cardano has Charles Hotchkinksngson at the helm, he won't allow any such bullshit.

And Cronos, I mean, with all the shit they did, all the money they spent, there's no way they go bust.

Never say never, sure, but the likelyhood of ADA or CRO doing a Luna is minimal.

"Doing a Luna" should become an official term :D

It would be a mistake to load up the bags this early. Didn't think I will see Bitcoin at 21K so quickly but here we are. US CPI at 4 decade lows means markets are in for one or two more years of rate tightening and as we have seen, crypto mirrors the stock market unfortunately. Rate tightening, lower asset prices go hand in hand. So Bitcoin at 10k is not wishful thinking. If you load up now, you will just be increasing your woes unnecessarily. long term futures short is to me a good play.

They will never panic sell like normal buyers. They want to remain invested fir long and will be rewarded accordingly.
