Pong. Not exactly a computer but a console hooked up to the TV which had two paddles as controllers. Circa 1978.
The Atari 2600 was a big upgrade when we got it! Remember clocking Asteroids.
On an actual computer would have been Lode Runner on Commodore 64.

The year was 1998.

Got my first PC, a Pentium I with 120MHz CPU and 16MB of RAM. I received a gift with 2 CDs with games. Out of them, the only ones compatible with my PC were Age of Empires 1 and Roller Coaster Tycoon. Knights and Merchants was working too, but very laggy because of my 2MB dedicated video card

I played those games for years before my family could afford an upgrade.

But believe it or not, I still play those games once in a while out of nostalgia.
I find Roller Coaster Tycoon a GREAT way to destress and forget any worries I might have.

I still have this PC in working condition, even the 14" CRT monitor that came with it. A piece of my childhood I would say.

Don't remember first one, but i do remember me and my brother was playing Diablo and Fifa97 back in 1996.
Later we had NFS and Warcraft 2.
Nice to remember these times.
