Long story short, I sold an Instagram account, and used Paypal goods and service, but the buyer waited 1 month to chargeback.

Paypal nicely took the money back first and I'm waiting for them to check my proofs to make the seller protection work.

Buyer blocked me on Instagram, but he was not smart that I have all his information, address, LinkedIn profile and so on... contacted him and he obviously is not cooperative.

Also he didn't unlink my facebook. So I can still use facebook to post on the account. Links to reset passwords don't work anymore. I don't have the email anymore as he changed all.

I've been looking a lot online but info is not clear.

Can someone confirm I can login with my facebook? when I go on the account on facebook, it ask somehow to reconnect the account but shows at linked.

I might just have a shot to try to login, so would appreciate any help.

Have you tried to go to instagram homepage and click "sign in with facebook"?

You need to have a plan before doing it. Are you going to change all the personal info?

Thanks for replying buddy.

I tried from an account that has my other account logged in so it offered me to login to something else.... and was thinking to yeah change info fast.

I finally tried to convince and put pressure on the buyer who at my surprise accepted to give me the account back so its all good now!

And :-

You sold a social media account and expect PayPal's seller protection ? It ain't going to happen. (I apologize for being honest).
It does work. I won a case in the past :)

Things are different with Paypal now, not like it was in the past. (Ofcourse, I wish the dispute goes in your favour, nonetheless).
Lol.
I won a case as a seller just last week. You don't know what you're talking about.

Instagram has a 'sign in using Facebook' option
I'm not sure if it will let you have more privileges other than to access content

Your account should represent you, and only you should have access to your account. If someone gains access to your account or you're unable to log in to your account, there are several ways that you can take action.
