Question For the Proxy Experts....

I'm curious to know.

Let's say A guy has a laptop and he takes it from cafe to cafe .

Question #1
Will he have a new IP address associated with his laptop when he logs in to each new Wi-fi connection?

Question#2
If he uses a service like IPRENTAL (or any other like it...), what would be the advantage aside from knowing the actual IP's in advance, geo targeting IP's in different locations and perhaps not having to travel from cafe to cafe to obtain a new IP address?

My understanding is that most ISP's assign a dynamic address for computers.Will the static IP still show as well or is this a thing of the past? I assume the Mac ID for each computer would still be detectable?

With all of that said, wouldn't traveling from location to location, pretty much be a safe and solid solution for obtaining new ip addresses?

If you aren't doing anything that needs more than a couple of proxy IPs and you don't care where they come from, why don't you just use TOR?

I'm no expert but I do have the answers you are looking for....

#1 yes he will have a new IP with each wifi he logs on to,

#2 the advantage in paying for proxies is that you are certain to have the amount of proxies you need at the time that you need them. for high level posting and such you need a reliable stock of proxies.

most ISPs that you use a WIFI connection with, use static IPs. Not sure about MAC id but these are not tracked by the websites you would post to.

traveling from location to location is 1 solution. A good budget solution. But again if you are working on high volume you simply cannot rely on driving around looking for connections - if youre posting 100 ads per day you can imagine the workload. Instead of running an automated posting solution, you now have to drive around which has to take at least a few hrs.

I TOTALLY understand it would be quite silly to drive around looking for fresh IP's all day, particularly if you're posting large amounts of ads on sites' like CL.

Actually what I had in mind was more so for CPA purposes. Not to try and fill them out myself, but rather i'd pay users to do it offline.

I would have posted this in the offline section, but I wanted an opinion and some insight from guys who are heavy on the proxy/ip side of things.

At any rate, I think I better know all of the details before i step into that territory in a substantial way.

It is a risk to surf in an open Wi-Fi at a public setting.

True, but wouldn't a VPN solve that? Is that what you mean?

Besides, i'd be more worried about AM's intercepting my plan than fools snooping at the cafe. Again, it wouldn't be my computer anyways, so I wouldn't care about information getting snatched.

OK I see where youre going with this. Heres the thing, once the n3twork sees a bunch of submits a)from the same location (the IP shows the city & state) b) at about the same time, (whomever you are paying will want to bang them out asap, back-to-back) it will get fl4gged as fr4ud and you will not be paid and/or banned, and out the money you paid those people.
