[CASE STUDY] ✔️✔️ 0 - 4.3M traffic in less than 2 years

I'm inspiring by them for last 6 months. Can't imagine how much deduction and work they put into this project.

Only problem is how to get 20,000 articles when you're broke )))
Everyone is starting somewhere)) No need it producing 20K at the beginning. If i would be broke i would just start with something, wrote by myself.
Walk and ye shall reach as they say.

I believe this product was made not by one person, but by a team with good knowledges and experience.

Same thing goes for https://treehouse.co/us/
They are not @ that much traffic, however their growth is still pretty nice considering their articles quantity (about 300 for their US page).
Their backlink profile is meh, but content structure seems pretty good.

IMO that is the thing that you can produce yourself at home, without outsourcing articles. You can start this kind of website with literally $50 in your pocket. Proper keyword research and articles structure is your key to success in this case.

Great post, thanks R.D. Note that they don't do in-context, manual internal linking, but just have a related articles plugin. Do you think that's sufficient internal SEO?
You've identified an area that, if addressed, would surely improve their situation and index more of their content.

If I buy a backlink from Forbes to my tech blog which has 100 articles, how much traffic am I going to get extra? Maybe 3,000? That's a big maybe.

When you have 10,000 articles, just one backlink can push an extra 100,000 visitors / month considering all the long tail keywords.
How did you come this conclusion?

What formula did you use to arrive at this assumptions?

I'm genuinely curious.

Lol no way. If they make 400 articles a month like the table shows, at $20 an article that's $8k-$10k a month.

Do you really believe that this website made 4.3M traffic per month with 10$ articles?!

IT looks like petkeen took about a 20% traffic hit from the Google update

Impressive. They also update their posts.

After an analysis of 1000 random posts:

A few notable things:

  • 1000 pots = 1 600 000 words (lol !!)
  • Average words count per post: almost 1500 ;)
  • Average of 10 images per post, all with the ALT attribute
  • Some H1 seems missing
