So I am on pace to reach 1000 subs and there is one question that grinds my gears.

I started my channel with speechelo text to speech voiceover, like the first few videos. Then I found a reliable voice actor who creates awesome voice overs.

Ever since, I only have videos with his voice and the videos with the real voice are more in total than the text to speech videos now. Maybe like 10 text to speech videos and 30 real voice over videos.

My question is, when I apply for monetization, do I even have to delete the text to speech videos? Because I am clearly not using tts anymore.

Because I am afraid when I delete some of the videos that it might affect my channel. I would love to leave them on my channel because it just shows the improvement of my quality but if I have to delete them for monetization, I will do that.

P.S. The videos with text to speech have barely any views, so they do not even contribute to the watchtime.

What should I do? Thanks in advance.

unless you have copyright claim on those videos, keeping them won't cause any problem. before you apply for monetization just make them private, the reviewer only checks two videos. one with most views and the newest one.

That's interesting, are you sure he just looks at 2 videos? Will putting 10 videos on private hurt my channel? Should I just set one private each day for safety reasons?

No need to delete them and if they are still getting views they will earn you money.

Just confirming what @View said, you won't have any issue with AI voicing videos being uploaded on your channel, so there's nothing to worry about. Keep hustling!

Thanks, tbh I think I will just leave them on my channel. There shouldn't be any problem with them afterall. My content is 100% original and I don't think these videos will be reviewed anyways.

If anyone got more to say feel free to post here, appreciate you.

Not correct. He may check other videos randomly.

If they check old videos, they might deny monetization. So delete them before applying.

If you keep those videos, it will give negative impression to the reviewer. So, better delete those videos.

Just in case, you already have enough videos in order not to risk it, I would delete it if I were you.

Such videos may pass in reviews so you can try applying once with those videos.

One more thing which can be relevant.
Before in time, when you delete a video, the hours count from your profile (needed for monetization) was also disappearing. - Has this changed?

no, it hasn't changed. you know, shorts don't count anyway. Except for shorts, the hour of every deleted video doesn't count for monetisation, it drops after about 2 days.

Those text to speech videos have got watchtime? If you remove them, that watchtime will not be counted.

Even if the video content is unimportant at the watch time. hour is reflected (except for shorts) but may be grounds for rejection in the monetization application.

I stated in my thread that the text to speech videos have like 5 or 10 views, so they do not contribute to the watchtime AT ALL.

What I could do is just apply for monetisation and if they reject I will just delete the videos next time before applying?
I would love to leave the videos on my channel because they are important to me emotionally.
It doesn't matter to me if I get accepted this month or next month I got a job so I do not have to get money fast.
