Hey guys , I've been in the dropshipping business for a few years now. Feel free to ask me your doubts and I'll try to help in any way I can.

Some common answers :

1. We don't use Aliexpress or Alibaba or Oberlo. We have our own sourcing service in China , and they take care of product fulfillment , tracking etc.

2. Most of our creatives are custom made. Fiverr is a good place to start.

3. If you have proper customer support , fast shipping and the quality of your products are good , then you have solved 80% of the problems. If any of the above is not working , it will be very hard to succeed.

4. We used both Paypal and Stripe to collect payments , and it doesn't matter how well your business is , at some point , both these gateways will look for a reason to limit your account. It depends on how well you manage your customers and try to keep the chargebacks/disputes to a minimum.

5. I have never worked with POD . It never interested me much.

6. All emails collected should be utilized properly as it will result in a lot of revenue on the back end. Customers who purchased once from your store are more likely to purchase more products again as long as they were happy the first time.

7. Offer coupon codes as much as you can , as it makes a difference in sales.

8. Make your checkout process as simple as possible without adding in a lot of factors to make the customer confused.

9. If you are just beginning , try to stay out of apparel, shoes etc. as the different sizes will be a problem for you to fulfill. Start with electronics or other similar products that are quirky/weird . Watches are another example

10. Have always worked with Shopify , Not sure about the other services but Shopify is pretty good.

If you have any questions at all related to dropshipping , feel free to ask.

Thanks for doing this.

After setting up your online store, what ways do you promote your page?

I know about facebook ads and ads in general but what do you think?

Thanks brother I have some questions plz , How long is the shipping time with you? Do you deal with YenExpress? Are you thinking of sending products to Warehouse in the US ?

Where and how do you search for winning products?
how much do you pay your guy on fivver for the creatives?

I did all of that and failed. The reason - traffic. How did you get traffic?

We don't promote pages actually. We setup pages for each niche and promote products within the page , mostly as posts or sometimes as website clicks. But mostly we do via posts as it gives the ad more interaction and engagement. We do only paid traffic and most of our traffic came from FB ads. So Facebook is pretty much what you need to generate a lot of sales as long as your product connects with the audience.

We usually ship our products in 3-5 days. I don't deal with YenExpress. We don't usually deal with warehousing because the shipping cost within US is a bit higher compared to shipping directly from China to the customer. But yeah , if the product is pretty big in size , sometimes it's worth doing that.

How do you choose winning products?
What’s your secret tips
Spy tools + Market Research + Keeping updated with the trends + A little help from our local agents in China.

For example : Anything related to the Johnny Depp case would be hot right now. Another angle would be to promote LGBTQ related products.

does instagram page still good for zero investment traffic?
Sorry I don't understand your question. Having an IG page without followers is not really good for anything I guess? But if you have enough followers , maybe its worth it . I have never worked with any influencer so i cannot really say too much on this.

$50 to 80 for the creatives.

Yes, how did you get trffic?
Facebook ads. I really think Paid traffic is the best and only way to sustain dropshipping and keep building a good customer database.

Sorry about the single replies above. Will make sure to multi-quote and reply from now on.

is it true that selling dropshipping courses is way more profitable than doing actual dropshipping business?

@anurag007 Hey man, a quick question. Would 10k capital be enough to succeed on dropship? This includes everything from Ads to websites and other expenses.
Also, what's your opinion on US and EU markets, which one performs better and has more "buying power". Appreciate helping this community.

Haha , I don't think so but in my opinion , There is no course that will tell you anything new that is going to generat magic sales . At the end of it , it's a business. If your products are good and you ship them on time , it should work just like anything else. There is no point in having an exotic looking store if your product isn't good. It won't convert.

$10k would be a good enough capital to succeed with dropshipping. I would suggest you start with a very simplistic website. Most of my sales are from a website which used a free theme from Shopify . It's called Brooklyn , I hope it's still free. Try to minimize costs on websites and focus more on creating good ads and perfecting the fulfillment process.

I would suggest you try the US market first and once you find some sales , try the same niche on EU markets. If a product is working well in the US market , it should most likely work in EU as well. There are some other things which makes me want to try US first. The US consumer base is more about impulsive purchases. So you have a good chance with many products , even if they are useless in day to day life.

If PP and stripe will find a way to screw you up. What payment provider do you suggest working with from the beginning to avoid the unecessary headache?

I don't think there's an alternative as of now. PP and Stripe , even if they screw you up, are the best payment processors to use. Most people trust Paypal more than anything else. So having Paypal in your store might be the difference in getting that unsure customer to go ahead with the purchase. Customers know that they can dispute on Paypal in case something is wrong.

My store fell even with that.

The store is still up - DM if you think you want to partner? Niche is a biggie.
