Throughout my 3 years on Fiverr I maintained a 100% score on everything. (Response rate,...). In those 3 years, I've had like 6-ish orders.

After a while, I got a new message from someone, however I thought fck it. I'm not even opening Fiverr. (This was 5 weeks ago I believe)

Anyway, couple of days ago, I opened Fiverr and saw that my response rate decreased to 91%. I answered the message I hadn't opened up until now and closed the app again.

since then my fiverr has been crazy. I get at least 2 order request a day. Here's proof:

So want to get more Fiverr orders? Just don't answer a random message for a couple of days/weeks. Take this advice with a pinch of salt. ;)

Or maybe the Fiverr gods realize I'm a true chad and finally gave me some leads. Until the algorithm favors others again. Yikes.

So you're basically saying: "Choke or slow down on your responses and you get more orders on Fiverr."

I'm not sure this works because I have a Fiverr account and I made thousands of dollars using that account.

Guess what!

Response rate plays a big role in what ranking you get, whether you get a one-star or two-star or you even get a preferred seller ranking.

As a rule of thumb, the moment you get messaged, if you can, respond to it as quickly as possible.

This is not always possible or convenient.

But as much as possible, respond quickly because a little bit of responsiveness, especially on highly competitive platforms like Fiverr, counts for a lot.

This is luck mate , fiverr algos got switched to new ones ,every week !

Do you know any self-made millionaire who did it completely thanks to fiverr? That platform is so crowded! Never hustle on a crowded block. The method is not for serious money makers.

I am a businessman and get my leads from Clutch (real businesses get listed there) and referrals. Do what I do.

I believe Fiverr algorithm saw your absence and that you had good rating and sellers response... Could very well be some kind of marketing method that they use... Sellers leaving? So send them to the front page for some days at random hours, watch them skyrocket in sales for some time and see them eager to get back...

Clever!

Definitely looking into this. Thanks for the heads up.

Do we need to answer in order to stand out more?

I remember back in 2012, 2015 and even 2018 people showing their new houses. The times have changed. Now it's about getting lucky and making $1k per month. I can't...

That is a brilliant observation, you could be right.

What is this clutch directory? I want in. I have a profile on fiverr, but I barely get orders, and I work for pennies for the ones I get. I hope it will take off once I reach level 1 seller but you never know :(

I have an account since, oof, 2017 or so. I can confirm this is definitely not how it works. I twiched and tweaked my gigs, profile everything. I spend a lot of money on professionally written texts and logos and so on even (became desperate). And I sometimes left my account alone for weeks and months after weeks and months of trying - I had zero orders before, I had zero orders after.

Now I have a new gig that I just put in to test stuff and suddenly I get 2 orders a week or so atm, it's quite fresh and repeat business but every now and then I get messages from new people inquiring... So I'll hope it'll grow on. Unfortunately the niche is not scalable :(

Anyway. The point is: He just got lucky for no particular reason, and I don't think you can copy it.

Fiverr changes algo often and it's kind of random. I guess it's like %50 for newcomers and %50 for good sellers. Sometimes new gigs popsup which has low sale etc. Respond rate is important tho.
