This bit of crypto archeology is interesting, since the stuff people said about Bitcoin then isn't that much different from what they say now.

Except back then you could get Bitcoin for free on faucets. No one ever thought it'd be worth a fortune today.

I've rejected bitcoin payment that was a substantial amount in today's worth. This was in 2013. And I don't regret it tbh. It could have gone either way. Made good money from ETH though so we're good
