[Journey] To my dream

What is my dream? I like nature and since I was little I wanted to live in the middle of it but life took me away from it. What I want to achieve is to create a corner of heaven in nature. For this I will need about 2000 square meters and of course a cabin. According to my calculations, I will need about 80k $.

And here begins my journey to my dream.

1. Blogging. I created a site in my native language. But unlike other sites, I managed to bring with me another 34 people (for now) to write articles on the site, stories from hiking, traveling, holidays, etc.

We will write about locations only from our country. I managed to bring so many people with me mostly because I have an Instagram account with 22k + followers, and most of them tag me in all their posts. In total, the number of followers is over 500k, so I hope I can direct traffic to the site from instagram!

So far there are 4 articles on the site, and a total of 2900+ words. Another 3 articles are being edited. Statistics I still don't have much to show because it's a new site and a new domain, I hope I can have what it looks like in the next few days.

I plan to recruit over 100 people to help me with the articles on the site. Instead, they will have the opportunity to promote their social media accounts, products and whatever they want as long as it is in the niche of the site. Also, after the site grows, I want to make a reward system for creators but also for those who take action on the site: comments, share, etc.

I'm going to create a cryptocurrency when the site has over 5,000 articles and implement it on the site. Thus the rewards will be in the form of your own cryptocurrency. Maybe in time I will make a system with premium content for visitors to buy coins! After 10,000 articles posted on the site, I want to make a collection of 10,000 NFTs. Each NFT will represent an article on the site. I hope that by then the site will become more or less known!


2. Social Media. I will try to use social media both to direct traffic to the site and to generate a profit from them.

So far I have an instagram account with 22k + followers that generates about $ 50-100 per month from shoutouts (sometimes 0 because I'm not always in a good mood to post on instagram if anyone wants a shoutout)

A TikTok account created 2 weeks ago has 935 followers. And a youtube account with 90 subscribers.

Romania! It's a cheap country, but price for land here where I am now are exorbitant. Will be 50-60k just for land, 2-3k for cabin and the rest for utilities, water, gas and electricity

Part with coin will be let's say something like a bonus. I will try to monetize with ads, affiliate and sponsored posts. The niche is nature an beatiful location from my country. We write about what we like.

The site is almost 2 months old and only 11 articles posted, much less than we hoped, these are the statistics:




As you can see the site has been approved in adsense. I try to approve it on google news and of course many more articles. I don't know if the statistics are ok but I hope I'm on the right track.

Hi mate, the cabin looks really nice .

I think though that you are a "bit" unrealistic about the fact that 31 (or 100) other people are going to help you with the content, just for having a chance to showcase their Instagram/Facebook profile on the website.

Of course at the beginning people are enthusiastic about such a project, say that they will do this or that. But once they realize the effort it takes to write a quality article in the travel/tourism niche, and also the fact that the website has barely any traffic now--so the benefit from showcasing their profiles there is negligible at the moment, 90% will back up immediately, and the rest 10% after seeing that the first article they published there brought them no extra gain .

I would suggest you to write first 100 articles yourself and bring the website to some traffic at least. Then the offer to write something for free may be more tempting for the people you hope to produce content for the site. Though even then it is not guaranteed they'd do it for free...

Good luck man! Sounds like a good plan. It's amazing how you managed to get so many writers and get free content. Do you compensate them in any way other than promotion of their social media?
