what's the reason to choose Shopify over Wordpress?

why people still use Shopify even it's paid plan.
is there any clear benefit using it?
It's just easier. You don't need to pay crazy money on developing the site, and starting at 30 bucks a month that's peanuts for some so they don't have to go crazy on Wordpress/don't have a clue with web dev and don't want to mess with freelancers. Everything's in Shopify.

shopify is easy to use and dedicated for ecommerce.

on wordpress you need to design store.

I personally using wordpress with woocommerce.
Thanks a lot for prompt and clear answer!

It's pretty simple: Because of the easy to understand interface.

I've used WP once in the past and hated everything then I made a prototype using Shopify and wow it's a solid choice, for 240$ a year you get rid of headaches definitely worth the money.

With Shopify, all the necessary eCommerce features are built-in since it is an out-of-the-box commerce solution.

Even though it is a paid solution, it can work out cheaper than WordPress.

I believe Shopify is more sophisticated and takes less time managing, with WordPress a wrong plugin update can mess so many things and you will find that hard to recover.

Shopify is much easier to use with Shopify you don't need to worry about installing or updating as everything is taken care of for you with its built-in features another benefit of using is that it offers users a more secure platform

I suggest a friend to use shopify for a reason - to be able sell the store easy when it grows.

Shopify has tons of advatanges over wordpress, for example Shopify Payments can be an alternative to Stripe or any other CC payment gateway.

Another advantage is Google loves Shopify websites. I track many different Ecom platforms and Shopify tends to rank more consistently than others.

This ^ , but the downside is they can pull your store without warning if they choose to do so.

Yup, I've never personally had this happen, but I've heard from others who have. Usually, it's in sketchy niches though.
