Off Shore Domain Registrar?

Lately, the US decided to give herself and other countries the power to take over domains which contains content that isn't to their taste.
Does anybody aware of a relay able company that is off shore and will not cooperate with that change?
Also, I heard something on domain .to that is different in that topic than other domains, can someone elaborate?

Never read a single positive experience with njal.la, but:

Namesilo does not deals with DMCA if only domain is registered with them. They'll ask to contact the web host. If you host site with namesilo, then they will deal with DMCA.

The-Online.com has DMCA listed in their TOS/agreements (like all other registrars). But they always forward it to my email address. I've never replied or removed any DMCA content (if received via the-online.com registrar) and never found they take any action like suspending or terminating domains. I only remove content/act on it if i get DMCA notice from my web host.

Epik.com got for free speech domains. I've bunch of porn domains registered here. Got 3 DMCA last year and I was asked to reply and do-needful in 48 hours. I removed those content.

Njal.la used to be good for porn/dmca domains, but many blackhatworld memebers and even members on other communities like reddit, namepros, dnforum, have complained that njal.la suspends your domains and you loose the control on your domain name. So proceed with caution.

Other noteable domain registrar is Shinjiru, based in Malaysia. They do not take down domains on DMCA, but will act if they receive complaint from Malaysian authorities.

Thanks for the update, I checked it and you are correct, njalla started to do that and there many complaints, its probably a good time for me to go away from them

I am not familiar with those other registars so I can't recommend those, but I should probably start researching myself
 
try some china-based registrars to be on safer side. Some examples are ourdomain.com, dnspod, biz.cn, todaynic/eranet etc.
they most probably don't give any importance to DMCA or copyrighted material unless its Chinese-based (that is you copy content from china and domain is registered in china).

IF you want to move fully away from U.S. then grab any Asian cctld, like .RU, .SU, or .SO, .TO, etc.

So let me get it straight, I can register the domain with NOT OFF SHORE company like namecheap, but if it's domain .ru or .to they won't do anything?

Nope. That's half correct. For full-proof safe domain registration you need to do two things:
  1. find non-U.S. / offshore registrar, specifically in Asia.
  2. register cctld like .ru, .su, .to, .hk, domain. If not, a .com will do, but it will not be fully safe.

And as for the non-U.S offshore registrar in Asia, is there any recommendation for relayable service?

I've posted the above recommendations that I've used in another thread. Njal.la, The-online.com, Shinjiru (Malaysia), Ourdomains.com (Hong Kong), and one more i found (personal recommendation by BHW member) is NameISP.com (sweden). Nameisp is also good and large offshore registrar owned by Namesrs. They've many active pharmacy domains. Other ones in Asia could be DNSpod, Z.com (web.z.com), or any major chinese/russian registrar.
 
All domain name registration is being regulated by ICANN.
If there is a goal to terminate one of your domain names it will be terminated if that violates regulation rules.
But first abuse goes to your web hosting service provider. So maybe that worth to concentrate on this?
 
ICANN is not yet completely controlled by the USA like some other vessel countries. .SU. RU are now definitely the best once, they sanction proof. :cool:
I'm also trying to find good alternative domain registrar that's located in a real independent country.
 
.to have agreement with Authorities, they seize more easily .to than before. Not very secure right now.

.com and .net are managed by Verisign US they can seize it very easily.

You can to go with fake details and anonymous payment and buying ccTLD (Country domain names) .su, .ru, .cr, .co, .is, .co, .sc, .li, .se

You can find some here, which also allow payment with crypto payment / bitcoin and others

I noticed that ThePirateBay is hosted on easyDNS. How come they are still up and running on a domain registrar in the same country that wants to put them in jail?

Do you know russian registrar too? which one
 
njala is very good, have been using them for few years now.

I have bought domains from both XUID and CheapPrivacy and both processed my domains faster, but i paid $199.99 for 1 month Bulletproof hosting with XUID and neither they activated it nor they are replying to my support tickets. Any suggestion??

Sometimes I wonder more and more ..is the beautiful USA today not have stable US law system? Is it now more like a "Wild Western"? what's happen?
