So I am trying to find the best way to reach out for guest posts or link exchanges.
I have tried-
1. Mass email (using GMass) from huge lists I've found on this forum (Niche filtered ofcourse)
2. Checking my competitor's backlinks with Ahrefs, export reports, find emails with snov.io and then GMass outreach

How do you do outreach? What works best for you?

Outreach is the best option but time consuming and sometimes expensive. I usually buy guest post services.

If you're looking for guest posts, I'd recommend sticking to mass emails. A lot of it depends on how you do it though, make sure each email is personalised and written well to maximise your chances. Tools like Mailshake can really help too.

I don't know about you, but if you are going to do email outreach for link-building purposes on a shotgun basis, you're just setting yourself up for failure.

I'm not saying that it's not gonna work.

I'm not saying that you're not going to get some positive results.

But the problem is the return on effort.

For every 5000 emails you send out, maybe a handful will come back.

To increase your chances of succeeding, you need a more targeted approach.

So basically you need to engage with publishers or bloggers that are active on social media and then engage with them by commenting on their posts.

This way, they could tell if you know your stuff or you're just a clown.

And once you gain their trust this way, then you can set up a collaborative relationship with them.

I can't emphasize this enough.

Link-building outreach is all about building relationships because relationships don't just yield one link every once in a while.

We're talking about a brand relationship between your blog and other established blogs in your niche.

That's how you create a network of high-value, natural backlinks.

Try the same technique but without Gmass and Snov.io. You will get a lot more responses without using gmail account because gmail accounts don't look professional. I stopped using Snov.io because it returns a lot of emails. Try scraping manually or using Hunter.io or similar sites.

I use GSA Contact Form Submitter. Can submit anywhere from 10-50k daily with Scrapebox lists.

I used to find 7-20 backlinks weekly :)

I am just curious is there a section on BHW where people can discuss link exchanges?

I will actually recommend social media outreach, most times websites of substance have at least one social media page or their founder is on social media. You can easily connect.
However doing this in bulk will require AI sophistication.

The problem is that many won't dispose their sites. I wouldn't, but I do exchanges, even direct ones, and they work

The best way for link-building outreach prospecting is to identify websites that are relevant to your target audience and find contact information for the relevant website owners. Then, reach out to them with a customized message that explains why a link from their website would be beneficial to both parties.
