Anyone else noticed the new trend of newbies with less than 8 posts commenting “samples plzz” or “discount plzz” on sales thread.
And they never actually do anything when you send them what they asked for?

The accounts who joined 17th, 18th, 19th May, log in make 6-8 posts, then log off while the next one logs in?
There are at least 12 accounts I've seen and reported some of these but the reports are rejected as no proof.

Yes exactly those. And their profile shows the same patterns all through. I understand the frustration though cos there's really no way to say for sure they're spam bots

That's exactly what I've realized as well. It is happening to me as well, I noticed that members joined on May 19th, less than 8 posts asked for "Discounts plzz" and "samples plzz". I sent them samples and discounts, but have not heard back.

maybe but you don't know 100% sure that they are bots or something else. you just give them what they want and move on hoping for a sale.

They’re all my alt accounts. I’m warming them up to eventually take over BHW.

Only way to prevent this is setting a requirement to Samples or Discounts like “minimum 100 posts” or something like that. I don't believe that they would get to that point with only spamming these kinds of messages.

Naa no need to do much about it really cos there are genuine newbie buyers with few posts out there and there’s absolutely no way to differentiate. Still its pretty annoying as a seller though

OMG! have been experiencing the same problem for the past two weeks. In every thread I have, they have asked for samples.
