Best Tool to analyse competitors backlink profile?

I am working with a Law firm and want to obliterate the competition for our keyword.
The closest competitor only has 253 unique Domains linking to it.

How can I find where the links and domains are? I want to try and replace a few of their links with ours.

Wow, camps are really split between semrush and ahrefs!
I have used both for years and personally prefer Ahrefs for the data and semrush for the interface and features.

What I was looking for was something new that could show me the data without having to generate and run reports that take 24 hours to populate.
I used to do a google search like "link: http://www.google.com" for example

Its nice to have a tool that can help find and duplicate relevant links. So far link assist seems like the closest.
What do you use for finding and duplicating links?
How do you do it with each tool?

Semrush is a very good analysis tool for competition.

Ahrefs is excellent seo related for competition analysis.
