I will not say that I do not believe in the Metaverse potential but I do know I won't be a consumer but I will try to make money out of it.
What will not be relevant? not depends on the metaverse but the progress of the A.I Technology.

Imo metaverse will be useless other than playing 3d games but we can already do that now with vr headsets. Why would I want to spend all day living in a vr world that seems boring to me.

I don't think developer jobs are safe too. With so many people choosing to become developers, the market is probably saturated by now. Add to that the no-code movement.
