Here's how to index your stuff using Reddit

I'm talking about the links from the websites you own, which you post on reddit. Reddit is just the middle man

Thanks for this Alexion. I have a little side-track kind of question: what are fast-indexing methods like this used mainly for? Are people just eager to index the posts of their brand new blog, or are these used more for massively AI-generated content and other automated type of sites?

It's more for AI volume websites, where patience is not a virtue.

But I've seen a lot of people lately complaining about indexing on blogs where they didn't update in a while, so this helps too.

People get so focused on content these days, that they forget they need some form of links from time to time.

I've developed a bit of a fixation with indexing lately, largely due to trying to index my stuff in volume.

While having a constant posting schedule does help, and eventually, Google will increase the crawl budget, I've stumbled upon another way that seems faster.

The first step is to create your own subreddit. Profile works too, but for some reason, I think a sub will perform better.

Now head over to /r/technology or /r/gadgets or any big sub. By big I mean huge, go for the big ones.

Next, repost whatever's on the HOT page. I usually do 5-6/hour.

The thing is, when you repost something, there's going to be a backlink to your post from the huge one. It shows in the bottom right where it says "View this discussion in X more places".

After 4-5 hours, assuming you now have at least 25-30 reposts, half or more of it will be indexed in Google.

After this point, start posting your links to your sub. I'm not sure what numbers are alright, but I do 25-30/day and it seems alright.

In about 3-4 hours, my posts move from "Google doesn't know about this URL" to "Crawled - Currently not indexed" or just Indexed, depending.

Point is, you will get crawlers to your website/backlinks/whatever.

Side effect? I'm getting around 5-7 subscribers a day from random people )

I've tried commenting on top posts, but this way is way way faster.

You can automate it with Python and have your own semi/pseudo Indexing API.

So yeah, sorry I didn't include pictures, but anyone should have no problem doing this, as I think I've included all the details.

Note: When I say repost, I mean posting the URL of the news website, not the Reddit post. Usually, the top ones are theverge, gizmodo, newegg, etc.

Done, now let's hope Karma comes back to me tenfold ))

FYI, in case you just created a sub-reddit but when trying to cross post to it , you cannot see your subreddit as an option, do it like this

1) Visit the old version of reddit >> https://old.reddit.com/r/gadgets/
2) You will see the "Crosspot" button under the post you want crosspost to your subreddit

Do you directly post your links to your sub? or post links in content?
Reddit will auto reove the links when I post, how do you solve this problem?

No idea what you're doing wrong, maybe your domain name is blacklisted or something. I've never encountered this issue, so no experience with it, sorry.

I post links in sub directly, like a bookmark.

L.E. Oh, I think your sub puts your posts in spam. Go to Mod Tools, Mod Queue, and manually approve your posts. That's why you don't see them. Happened to me once.

People mostly are concerned with indexing when they build crappy links on crappy PBNs, and many of those get largely ignored by Google because Google knows that it's just a PBN created for selling links, so they hardly ever crawl sites that form part of PBNs, and they take ages to index content that Google knows is of no use to users. For the most part people are looking for ways to get content crawled and indexed because they have a link in said content.

The fact of the matter is, if you build real valuable links (from real sites, not PBNs and the like) you don't need to be concerned about crawling and indexing, because it will happen naturally within 24 hours or so. It all just depends on whether or not Google deems your site as something that is worth crawling and indexing. Once Google has identified a PBN, they don't waste resources often to crawl and index it. OPs post is correct, Reddit is a great way to get Google crawlers to your website/links (so is Twitter), but if you build links worth building, none of this is necessary to get your links crawled and indexed.
