Watching a video on Web doesn't get counted as a view

Hi all, I was playing around with my tiktok account and found out that when I watch someone else's video on the Web version of tiktok, the view does not get counted on the video.

Has anyone else encountered this too?

I'm not sure for TikTok, but view counts usually update hourly or some other interval everywhere else. Could it be that the view counter isn't updated real time for TikTok?

Thanks for the suggestion I've actually checked and it is does not seem to be a counter problem. When viewed on the app, the view is counted instantly, but, even after waiting more than 1 day, the view is not counted when done from the web...

well, something learned , web views dont work, apps views do.
