I will just leave feedback about Jasper since this is the tool that I heavily used except Sensit:
1.readability
If you feed enough information then Jasper gives you human-readable content (most of the time) but there are random instances where the generated paragraph looks spammy to me.
2.creating a longer text
It is capable of generating longer text/paragraphs. Again, read the answer above.
3.easier to use
User-friendly and it has a lot of templates and recipes, in fact, the community is helpful too!
4.speed
Ever since I use this tool I never had any issues with lag whatsoever.
My takeaway is that when using such tool it has to be 60% human 40% AI. Heck I even hit the above-threshold on SurferSEO hitting almost every term that I want to include on every content that I write.

These tools use the same gpt-3 but may or may not use the same model...
You should check Riku ai, it gives you the freedom to choose whatever gpt-3 model you like plus many of ai languages (free gpt-j, muse...etc) at wholesale prices straight from the provider which in gpt3 case it's Openai

I am using Riku.ai $50 lifetime (now I can see price is $69).
You should add your own API keys from every AI providers. But it is free.
It has many pre-made templates.
With full blog writing template I have decent output which requires very small editing / correcting.
I am in adult niche, and articles generates with Riku.ai are fine at 99%.
While sensit.ai generates totally nonsenses / outputs scrapped content in my niche.

Jasper does a decent job in broader niches
But if you target something specific within a niche and write a whole article about it, the tool could repeat the same sentences. The downside is that you end up losing word credits this way.

Jasper and other AI have its limitation. It does a good job creating content that is readable at best. Sometimes it also generates content that is not factually correct. However, you will also need to edit and guide them heavily to use it for your money site.

I think currently there is no lifetime option. They only have 20/month and 200/year plans.

All APIs gives some credits for testing - up to 100k words.
When you use these credits - create new account.

I use some of the SENSIT models in my projects (not hosted on their servers) so I have a pretty good clue about what they are capable of. I also tested Jasper/ Jarvis for a long time. Furthermore, before going to SENSIT, I tried rytr, closerscopy, wordhero, copy.ai, copysmith etc because my projects require tons of AI quality content and I had to choose the best provider.
Sensit is by far the most advanced. And that's mainly because they're training their own models and their scope is to deliver full content of extremely high quality for an AI model in 1 minute. With Jasper and the rest of the tools you have to constantly generate small parts of the paragraph, check them and edit where it's necessary.
With Sensit AutoPilot you just input a topic, a short description, maybe some H2 tags and 1-2 minutes later you have a full 1000+ words article. And you also get unlimited access to some modules where you can manually create content, like in Jarvis and the rest of the tools.
But don't take my word, go ahead and use their Autopilot free trial and see with your own eyes how it's working.

Are your results better or cheaper with Sensit than your own OpenAI fine-tuned model?
You said costs of your model were quite high and required exceptional computational power.
What kind of computers we should be talking about? Where would you rent them?
I guess you were fine-tuning for specific niches and hence the above.

I haven't seen an OpenAI model to be able to generate a full decent article (1000+ words) with no user input/ steering. Regarding the price, on my use case the price/ article is much cheaper when the quantity of generated articles is very high (at least 1 million words/ day). But the real advantage in my case are the training costs. Of course you could fine-tune OpenAI models just like Sensit trained theirs and the results would be the same. But fine-tuning a model on OpenAI is, in my opinion, extremely expensive and financially inefficient. Sure, if you want to fine-tune with a small dataset (a few megabytes) it's not that expensive. But if your dataset is measured in gigabytes, or if you have tens of datasets with more than 100 megabytes of data inside each of them...it's going to cost a large fortune. That's because OpenAI bills you on the amount of tokens in your dataset. As far as I know, some of the Sensit models were trained on millions of articles. I use some of their weights (not all of them) to fine-tune further on my use case with other hundreds of thousands of articles. So that would mean a colossal amount of $ if we'd use OpenAI.
Furthermore, OpenAI's GPT-3 models (like any other NLP model) are excellent for small completions of the user input but useless without fine-tuning if you have a complex task like generating a decent 1000+ words article in an automated fashion, with no user input. Sure, there are tricks like generating sections of the article and putting them together afterwards but the quality, the relevancy, the flow of the article...all of them are drastically reduced in these scenarios. Another extremely important reason for doing in-house training/ fine-tuning is the detection of the AI content by tools like https://huggingface.co/openai-detector/
And the tricky part is that the process doesn't end with the fine-tuning of these models. In production, both on Sensit and in my use case, multiple different AI models are working together in order to generate one long article. And this thing would be impossible with OpenAI because they don't have these additional models.
In (my) conclusion, OpenAI is a cheap option to use for classic AI writer applications, like a long-form AI content creator where the human user makes a small input, and the AI offers a completion. But for custom/ complex tasks, fine-tuning or training your own models on your own/ rented infrastructure is the best option.
Google TPUs nodes & Amazon Sagemaker (GPU's). For the GPUs, one might want to look for cheaper options because more and more are starting to appear especially with the current crypto crash.

OpenAI decided to only allow gpt3 to be used for an extended period of time if you are offering a service/app. That includes apps requiring user accounts, pay walls, limited trials etc to limits the usage. Purpose is to add security checkspoints to keep control of what for & how gpt3 is being used.
