his weekly revenue will surpass 3 mil. Bonus on signing the contract + salary + image rights
he will be the best paid athletes of all time, beter than Jordan, Tiger Woods, LeBron or Ronaldo.
It all depends on how is he going to manage his image.
He will have to change his attitude and act a bit more selfish.

I agree with his choice 100%. Every sportsman shoukd choose the money. Their careers are short, with a high risk of injuries.

Good for him, a natural talent.

This is critical!

Branding in professional sports it´s huge now.

Personally, I think it would have been better for him to sign with Real Madrid because of a much bigger marketing platform, higher-profile league, and a much larger fan base across the world in comparison to PSG and the French league.

As far as I know, even the French government had something to do with convincing Mbappe to stay in France and with the PSG.

He will have to change his attitude and act a bit more selfish.
He has to win!

I could not agree more with this!

People need to separate our love for a club/franchise/team and the fact this is their job!

Swearing loyalty to a team´s logo or shield is a trivial thing because, if by any chance tomorrow you get injured, the team won´t be as loyal to you.

This is a business and, as a professional (athlete or not), you need to make sure you get as much as possible while you´re still in your productive years.

I am American so futbol/soccer isn't that popular here. I know of him but I didn't think he was that big of a star. Congrats to him.

And this is is supposed to be a good thing? Can't see how this is meant to be a resolution in life.
That’s sports, buddy. Jordan, selfish.
Ronaldo, selfish. Tiger Woods always followed his interest.
Mayweather is OMG-kind-of-selfish. That’s how it’s done.

He will be a billionaire if he doesn't get injured badly . Psg is also crypto native andndropping nfts for all their players .
He's gonna great future!

He's sold his soul to the devil for cash. Playing in the farmers market isn't doing his reputation any good, however, he's still young so has time to redeem himself, look at the likes of Ronaldo he's old and still playing. He needs to get away from there ASAP and compete in better leagues.

French league is getting better with players like him, Neymar and messi

It's still a farmers market league and will never compete with the likes of the Premiership. Messi's stats aren't that impressive. The money being spent is ridiculous.

He will get 300M as a signing bonus + he will get paid 100M per year(and that is after tax)

Messis stats aren't that impressive? You mean at psg . Or his entire career.?

From a business perspective (and football became a business) it's absolutely stupid. They would also win the french league without him. Champions League? Difficult.

Besides this, his contract also says he can influence decisions when it comes to coaches and transfers. Which coach is going to take this? And which teammate wants to have a mate like this?

And where the heck is "financial fair play"? A guy like Abramovic (think of him what you want) has to sell Chelsea, because of his nationality...meanwhile there are rich Arabs from countries where it is no secret there is slavery and human trafficking and they just use the oil money to buy clubs and players. Hello?

Top-tier football is ruined and PSG is probably the best example. So much money in this league...

In England, I can understand it. There are so many top teams and its competitive but in France?! How many clubs there are able to buy a single player for 50m+? Probably only PSG

People saying he had to chose the money are why the sportsmanship is getting lost.

Those guys get way too much money to count it when it's about doing their passion.

But here you are, suggesting he was right to chose an 180M contract instead of a 150M contract just because of money.
