Starting with a new Instagram Account, best suggestion on post's, reels, and increasing followers...

Each time only follow 5-10 people, 1-2 hours apart
Maintain a regular posting pace, 1-2 posts a day, and use trending music for your reels
That's what I read and am applying

Strategy depends on your business niche / services and so on.

Whatever you do be consistent. Build connections, follow Influencers, use your own creativity in reels and so on.

Tell us your niche, what do you expect us to give you there without knowing any background?

It's never too late to start an Instagram account.

There have been a lot of algorithm changes lately so it's not as easy to grow as it was back a few years ago but reels and stories are doing pretty well.

As they say, content is the king and will always be, just the form has changed so only posting images won't cut the slack.
Look at what the most established accounts in your niche are doing, the kind of videos they're making, add your own twist to it, and try those.

With the right content and right marketing, the growth should pick up really fast. Good luck!

you have to be patient because ig is very strict now, it also starts with reels and videos

Be consistent with your niche, post regularly with trendy hashtags and music, and be patient as you would want to have organic/real followers and it takes time. You can use the mother/child or follow/unfollow method to increase your followers slowly but surely. Do not - at any cost - buy views, followers, or likes for that matter since it's a new account.

If it's a personal account and you're already on the US, then a proxy isn't too necessary there. Outside of US or if you intend to use multiple accounts, it's highly recommended to get 4G proxies. General advise for IG is once you've got a niche, avoid changing content for Reel uploads. If you're in travel, stick to it. If you pivot even once, your exposure is gonna get hit hard and views will likely drop for future uploads. You can post tangential content on your stories, sure, but you have to keep your Reels pure to your content of choice.

Upload content consistently. Follow top influencers and try to engage with target users.
Do not follow or like multiple accounts in a short time.
Use the only relevant hashtag. Do not repeat the same hashtag.

Even if it`s a personal account, you can still target both randomly and according to your interests/hobbies - making money, crypto, fitness, traveling, tech are only a few of the niches you can target.
Post constantly, quality content and work on your bio - that`s how people will know you and will make them follow and engage with you.
Make hashtag research and use them wisely (60-20-20 or 80-20 rule, you can adjust in time).
Search other accounts in your niches of interest, follow and engage, that`s how you create a solid community.
Verify your analytics and adjust your actions accordingly.

Have patience, do all of the above and you will see great results! Good luck with growing your account!
