Anyone use Elf Links for Aff Links?

I saw Jon Dykstra who runs fatstacksblog mention the use of Elf Links for hiding his affiliate links. I haven't really seen anything on this plugin on the net except for WF and this guy's blog post http://im.zone/i-used-elf-links-and-i-am-not-impressed-here-is-why/

Anyone here have any experiences with this plugin or hiding aff links (whether it's worth it or not) in general.

To truly hide affiliate links to google or other search engine bots or ad networks spiders/agents, you need a cloaker.

Because, it doesn't matter if you use a link shortener, google will find it's way to the aff link. But, if you use a cloaker and you don't show google ANY link, there's no way google can find a link even exists
