Hi

I bought my first auction domain through Godaddy Auction few hours ago. It was friday evening.

I needed to spend more than I though to win the auction, with tax and everything I need to spend $ 550.

Now, on my debit card there aren't so much money, I just have $ 300 there. But, on my Paypal account linked to my card, I actually have $ 350 in the balance. So, 350+300 I should be able to buy this domain.

But it doesn't. When I try to pay with my paypal I get an error. My fear is that Godaddy doesn't see my paypal balance funds and wants all the money on my card.

Now:
  1. Charge the card with the amount needed wouldn't be a problem but it's FRIDAY NIGHT right now. It's weekend. I can't recharge my card during weekend.
  2. Godaddy support is offline right now. They offer support Mon-Fri so I can't get any help by anyone
  3. According to the email they sent me, they PRETEND me to pay within 48 hours (until sunday evening) from the end of the auctions or they will suspend me.
How do I get out from this crazy situation? Paying my domain with the money I do have without losing anything?

If you already won the auction, try to contact the seller and explain that you will make the payment on Monday (you can also leave a message to the support, even if they are offline, so they may not suspend you - it is for a good reason). I haven't use PP in the recent years, but in the past, I remember they deducted the money from the bank account, if the pp balance wasn't enough. It looks like they changed the things.

Good luck!

Thanks. Anyway I managed to solve the issue. I tried to convert my paypal balance to the same currency as my debit card currency and it worked.
