Do types of SSL certificates affect ranking

How does SSL certificates affect ranking. They have many types PositiveSSL, Wildcard, EV SSL etc. I have heard that EV SSL move your domain up in ranking. Is this true?

I am not saying that you can't rank without a EV SSL . My experience is that if you have 2-sites with the same content similar domain strength. One with EV and one with free SSL is that the one with EV will naturally organically get indexed quicker and produce results quicker. This is just my observation. I don't know if it is proven or not. I have tried it and that is what I see. I just wonder if anyone else has tested this.

A EV SSL is a verified SSL. A third party company actually verifies company documents to prove legal entity and ownership. I am hypothesizing that Google uses this within their algorithm since the EV SSL proves legal entity and ownership. I have seen this and tested it. I am wondering if anyone else has tested this for validation .

You don't need any EV or Wildcard SSL for ranking. Free SSL is best!!

SSL makes visitors more comfortable when they are visiting sites. Because SSL stops a lot of information leaks. It doesn't have any direct connection with ranking.
Just use free SSL it's enough for most cases.

There is no use of EV SSL nowadays because when you hover over the website link in past times it shows that your SSL is certified by EV but now if you will hover your mouse to the website link at HTTPS it will show you nothing. So this EV kind of SSL was used before not in the current time.
