I have seen that recently. This is in French. Some airlines are proposing their clients pay 1.38€ more, for an environmental purpose, without any clear explanation.



I think that this stuff is so stupid that it will work nicely.

This idea can be translated to people delivering physical products through Shopify, Woocommerce, and even digital products. Adding this option may increase your profit, and twists are possible.

Surely it would be having an opt-out option while making the payment. But, again surely majority of human beings are not aware enough to know that all they may have to do is uncheck some box in order to not pay (contribute) that amount.
