How much is too much with Adsense???

I’ve had my Adsense account for 14+ years and have been making $8-10k per month for the last 6-12 months and at least $3k+ per month for over 2 years. All above board, white hat organic search traffic from Google, Ads not placed deceptively or anything like that. I’ve just been slowly growing out the content with good keyword research.

Well 2 weeks decided to try to run a few AdWords campaigns (yes only 3 of them) to see if I could make arbitrage successful and now my Adsense account is generating over $3k per day.

This crazy increase had got me paranoid that I’m going to get a manual review and Google will find some arbitrary reason to ban me.

My content is unique and well written but one could easily argue that it is unnecessary and users landing on my page isn’t exactly the most user friendly and they would be much better off landing on official site that is at the top of the organic results.

There are many sites doing what I’m doing in the organic results, on a very very large scale with terrible AI generated/spun content, some of them actually steal and spin my content. They’re just not running Google Ads.

My point in writing this is to get some input on odds I get a manual review and odds that my site holds up.

And to see if anyone with a super old Adsense account like mine has ever gotten a suspension/hold/ban but was able to discuss with Google and keep their account while correcting the issues Google has with what they were doing.

Obviously I’m not going to reveal what I’m targeting so you’re guessing based on the information provided above.

With Adsense it's really up to who reviews your account. I had 2 friends that did large numbers with arbitrage a few years back. They both learned from each other and ran very similar sites. Even down to ad placements.

One slowly scaled and was able to peak at $400k/month with no issues.

The other got some friends to invest and scaled as fast as possible and peaked at $600k/month. That month he got banned.

I never touched adsense due to the randomness and inconsistencies, but if I were to get in that space, I'd slowly scale to stay under the radar.

As for the friend who got banned, he was paranoid and reached out to support to make sure everything was OK with his ad placements and CTR. They assured him everything was perfectly fine, but still got banned and payments withheld. He did take them to court and with the screenshot, they were able to reach a settlement, but because he maxed out credit cards, dumped savings, paid lawyer fees, and quit his job, i don't think it was even break even.

Jokes apart, I don't think Google will ban any account that's making them good money, as long as no rule is broken.

As much as I know, AdSense allows premium ads if you manage to cross a monthly volume. You can then use floating ads and other premium styles for your ads.

Logic says that Google would give me a chance to fix things (if I got a manual review and they found something off) after having an account that had consistently earned for 10+ years, but we know logic typically does not prevail in these situations.

I never asked about account age, but the sites were running for about a year with no SEO. All unique content as well.

The one I was closer with (the one that didn't get banned) I know for sure he was running Adwords with display, but I think only cheap international clicks, so it was a small part of the budget/revenue. The other I would assume display as well since they pretty much used the same strategy. Outside of that everything else was 100% arbitrage through other ad networks. They also both had account reps that didn't explicitly say it, but it was almost encouraged to bring in more traffic.

I was doing a lot of blackhat with adsense. adsense does not care much about age. They ban you randomly

What I’m doing it definitely NOT black hat. Is it the most user-friendly? Probably not, but less than 1% of the search results should exist if we’re only sending people to the most user-friendly stuff.

My content is 100% on topic, unique and written by humans.

My ads are not displayed in any type of deceptive way.

There are much much worse quality sites in the organic results and AdWords targeting the same keywords l’m targeting with the same type of content but much lower quality.

I decided to lower my Ad budget so that I don’t have such an explosive increase in earnings in 1 month. I’m giving up 10’s of thousands over the next few months in hopes that slowly increasing my earnings will keep my account safe. Might be the wrong move but I’ll never know.

Hello, are you still using your adsense account or Google eventually ban you? I want to try something like this using AdWords as an arbitrage for adsense but I am scared.
