[Journey] Is dropshipping still profitable in 2022?

Greetings.

I will document my every move here. I decided to try drop shipping in 2022.

Recently I have come across many people saying dropshipping is dead. Well, time to disprove them.

What I did so far

1) Store 1

- Bought domain and Shopify plan
- Created the store
- Added 1 product (A product I saw on Tiktok)
- Created social media pages. (Tiktok, Instagram, Facebook, youtube, and Pinterest)
- Everything is set up except videos.

2) Store 2

- Created a logo and social media

Total spent - 44$ (domain + plan for store 1)
Profit - -44$

Marketing strategy
Week 1 - free organic source from TikTok and Instagram reels
Week 2 - Influencer shout out
Week 3 - Ads

I will update my progress frequently.
P.S. - I will be working only 3 - 4 hours a day in this store.

Just a tip, considering organic or social traffic as free trafic isn't right. Control your KPIs to measure your progress (CLV, ROI, ROAS...)

Yes from Aliexpress. Do express shipping. Cost a bit of money but hey happy customers. Delivery time is 7-12 days.

Try cjdropshipping and see if you can find a manufacturer in the USA (if that’s your main audience) so you can shorten shipping times

Work with a shipping agent. My agent ships to the US in less than 12 days - mostly 10 days.
