No, but when they publicly announce they given backdoors to feds, I'm not going to go though millions of lines of source code to verify it, as something like backdoor obfuscation exists anyways (and that's how they were able to provide it to feds). It's also easy to get de-anonymized because of the nature of public ledger, read an article about it.

That just doesn’t make sense, zcash has billions of market cap, and you are saying that it has a backdoor, to what exactly? It works following an algorithm, the only thing that can be exposed is the IP at most, that anyways get exposed even with Cakewallet or others lightwallet, I personally have never used zcash but saying that it has a backdoor is just foolish

A backdoor to their burn and mint function, obviously. What does marketcap and algorithms have to do with any of this? All it takes for a coin to be successful is, promises, marketing, time, community full of moonboys and promises. I'm sure there are plenty of reasons for it to bleed for most of it's existence.

Backdoor was planted to hunt down "bad actors" and as time has shown, once you give that power to feds, it will be abused to spy, and surveil regular people who have nothing to do with criminal activities.

Zcash can make their money from doing what they do, then eventually they can sell out, along with their backdoor to some Davos backed entity for an obscene amount of money, then sit back whilst the big Corps ruin the essence of crypto and sell everyone’s info to anyone willing to pay, including LEAs.
