if that was a churn & burn project they have probably made a nice ROI. Still too little monthly revenue for 5+ million visitors a month, though...

On SEMRush it's 10 million. $5-10 RPM is fine and I would be happy to get those RPMs from crappy spun articles lol.

At least they made a lot of money for a short time. I think Google is getting smarter now at detecting these kinds of crap.

Personal opinion, backlinks make the difference. What website was an expired domain, which I think helped them a great deal.

I started a bunch of mine with expired domains with a couple hundred links, didnt notice much of a difference honestly, plus if you notice the growth of these sites its usually followed by a large increase in links which is why i think it may have to do with them building automated links of some kind as they also add new posts

nah shows their foolishness they could have mixed original content, worked on those plag content. But they were greedy it’s a wasted oppurtunity and a lesson for all do black hat but know when to stop

Yeah I checked and it's de-indexed already, I was following this site because I was planning to create one myself.

Well, they tricked Google once and they will do it again. Skills to pay the bills. I am sure it was all on autopilot, so they earned themselves a good amount of money with an amazing ROI and now they have a lot of cash to invest into some more serious projects.

The biggest websites of this kind that are still indexed are banking hard, earning about $2-3k daily afaik. Why would they stop earning up to $3k daily for a year? Even if you kill the method, they can tweak it and still bank.
And there are already few people on BHW doing such thing.

If they were going with 100k traffic monthly it would not be THAT worth it, even on scale. Why go 100k traffic / mo with 20 websites, while you can go 1kk traffic / mo with 20 websites?
This method with PAA's without tweaks were disclosed on BHW already few times with more or less details. People are now starting to use it on their websites (meanwhile it's 1 year+ old method), because it went public on BWH. If it didn't go public on BHW, it would still be under the radar, even with those guys banking that hard on it.

i see this one has the same starting point as lisbdnet, which is Oct 2021.

For comparison, askinglot started in 2020 and SLOWLY increased.

i still bet it's due to backlinks issue, overdoing it or something

And that's the problem. You want to run website based on scraping script, but seemingly you have problems with using search bar properly. I don't wish you bad, but you will probably fail in IM.
Research and it's proper interpretation is one of the key factors in IM, SEO, whatever that connects web and money into one piece. But that's just my opinion ofc

No, because there is no Krabby Patty secret formula if you know what I mean
Their content itself is good enough in Google's eyes to rank for given longtails that are also low comp KW's (mostly). There are dozens of people that rank their websites just using good content and proper interlinking (well, whole whitehat is basing on this). That's all.

Other than that, mass posting content aint the thing. It can be bad in some cases. Thing is to drip-feed it well, not post thousands of articles per day.

the thing is most of these sites have millions of posts. They are also like 1-2 years old at best, a lot of them even younger. Assuming it's 2 years old with 1M posts that's 1.4k posts per day still assuming they don't miss uploading a single day (which they prob do so they probably upload them all in big big batches)
