anyone can enlighten me how to rank huge websites ? I mean trying to rank every single page

All categories should be reachable from the homepage, and all posts should be reachable from their respective category pages. Interlink relevant posts with contextual links to form a content silo or content cluster. Build contextual external links to homepage, category pages, and posts in the top of content silos or content clusters that you have interlinked.

You can only rank such huge sites with site authority. You need a lot of high quality links and many interlinks. While backlinks require a heavy budget, you can easily create interlinks with some plugins.

This is not whitehat at all hahaha
Unless you are some big media company with thousands of writers lol

Anyway, just build content and it will get indexed some day

Unique title and description tag for all million pages, plus unique content for each page, PLUS
xml and html sitemaps. simple, easy, reliable and free.

Just have a look at any TV news website, all most all post/articles are indexed and ranking. (I'm not talking about small made-for-google-news sites)

That is a lot of content. In order to rank them all it will need to be well written and original.

Submit a site map in search console so Google can better see and crawl your pages.

If the content is decent and original, it will get indexed and rank. Not saying it will rank on page one but once indexed, it will rank somewhere.

To start with, PR evaluates Web structure through link analysis to determine relevancy. It's an algorithm factor that gives higher rankings to sites with many strong, quality links leading to their pages.

I'd suggest you promoting linkability within your site: there are many ways to do this. Basically, you want to provide quality resources and outgoing links as appropriate. This can include links to search engines, news hubs, weather reports, industry resources, industry professional groups and so forth. Outgoing links can be important in two ways: they provide incentive for other quality sites to link to you when you're already linked to them, and if internal linkage is done properly, it can improve your PR score.

If you want to index 1,000,000 pages, that means you need about 2,800 indexed per day. Not even talking about ranking, as that's impossible to answer considering the details you gave.

To index 2,800 pages per day, you'll need a fair amount of money spent on either backlinks, or indexing services for 10% of those pages, with good internal linking.

But yeah, futile discussion. Worry about ranking 1,000 pages and then check if you can see more in front of you.

Find an SEO specialist and optimize your whole website for rank. You will find them in the internet marketplace.

BHW is sure a way to get started.
For a 1-million-page website, what's your intent? Planning to rank local pages for lead generation or authority website?
We have to clarify that first!

Do you have an enormous budget set aside?
For 1-million-page targets, the root URL should be your main backlink strategy for months, or even years. You need to keep building authority to the root, then keep pulling audits from the root approach. You'd have some pages that are starting to perform on SERP.

I'm someone that believes so much in data. With the new data you have pulled from an audit, you can move to targeting internal pages that are deemed profitable.

It sounds so simple, but that's the general idea.

Well, you cannot rank everything on the top of Google but if you build that authority, you might rank a lot within a year.

But First thing is that you got to index all of them which needs a good tech team and a tech SEO guy.

Thank you all of you , I have a clearer idea now, most replies were inspiring !

Someone shared such a website on BHW today which is ranking like crazy and owner making shit money. But the owner of such websites will not reveal anything. How are you planning to generate millions of pages though?

I think you need seo combined with advertising.
The required result is a conversion

can you share with me the post

I wonder myself how big media sites like techtarget(com) as example, getting their content? This site owns 150 websites(!), ok they have money to hire journalists and writers, but their daily blog content/news, where they get this? Stealing from RSS without give a shit credit link to the origin source, scraping other sites, from Reuters?

Yes look at bloomberg they dominate google first page with multiple listings from one domain and multiple subdomains (subdomains will harm you in seo?) , yes they have money to get the best seo experts, but I think the site structure has a big seo impact too, they all have content hubs, far beyond normal siloing, hubs with descriptions who linking to the specific category, who has a lot of posts linking back to the category and home page or content hub.

You can learn from these big guys.

Happy Friday!

Your best bet here is to adopt a uniform interlinking system that leverages the value of your pages.

Now to pull this off successfully, you have to have quality content to begin with.

If you have 1 million pages and a lot of them are thin content or a lot of them are transactional pages or it would contain very little useful information, you're just wasting your time.

But on the off chance that you actually have 1 million pages with information that people would actually want to bother to read, then pay attention to what I'm about to say.

You have to interlink in such a way that the content of the page you're linking to adds value to whatever discussion you're having with your reader on the page you're linking from.

Use this strategy and you will be able to get more traffic from Google.

Why?

You are setting up your site as a useful resource or reference tool for whatever niche you're in.

This way, every piece of content you publish acts as a promotion tool for other pieces of content.

Focus on a solid site structure and killer internal linking. Make sure your sitemap is clean and crawlable. Prioritize pages based on potential traffic and revenue – not every page needs to rank. Invest in automated SEO tools for bulk optimizations.
