How to remove a Supreme Court link from google?

My brother is an attorney. He said this doesn't seem to be affecting his business, but he got slapped with a warning on 2004. It just personally bothers him I guess. When you google his name it shows up in the # 2 spot. It's on ColoradoSupremeCourt.com. A removal or a noindex would work... Any ideas? I don't see any contact information on their page. Any tips would help.


I suppose last resort would be to seo the other positive noise. But a removal or noindex would be preferred.

Anyone got any tips?

The odds of getting a link from Colorado Supreme Court.com deindexed or removed is HIGHLY unlikely.

His best bet is to go all in on his own brand. HisFullName.com, Get a professional Linkedin, Get a twitter with his name, facebook with his name, instagram with his name and handle, etc etc. Link them all together on his URL. Try and push that listing down to the 2nd page anyway possible.

Another option as you said could be to just contact them and ask if they'll remove the warning from the website since it was decades ago. If that doesn't work then the above would be your only bet.

The best thing he can do here is attempt to flood the first page with links of his own. From his own personal website that matches the keyword and perhaps a LinkedIn business profile listing of some kind.

The competition for that is extremely low Id imagine anyone would be able to do it within ~8 weeks.

I agree. It's much simpler and quicker to flood it with positive matches on the first page.

Your brother could also go down the YouTube route and start making legal videos. Even a few of these with his name in it would ideall superced the supreme court page.
