Anybody making money with the 10-20% fluctuations in crypto?

I ask because, bear market, bull market, theres a constant 10-20% up and down fluctuation in almost all cryptos all the time.

So if you start with $1.000 and sell at a 10% profit each time, it would only take 10 successful sales to profit $1.000. And 100 sales to get $10.000.

Or.. you can start with $10.000... you see what im saying...

Looking at the charts right now, youd get XRP or NEAR or ETC. Theyre all down about 8% in the past 7 days.

Im only looking at the top 50 coins or so, because if you get stuck on a coin that just isnt getting you that 10%, you can hodl it and long-term probably still come out on top, and sleep at night.

So go ahead, throw shit at me. Whats the flaw in my flawless thinking?

The flaw is you can't know for sure when it goes up and when it goes down.

We all know the theory. Yet so few of us actually make any money trading.

It's the same in stocks.

How you will know after you bought a coin will have +10% and not -10%

It doesnt matter. Give it another week or two or three, and youll get it.

It doesnt matter when. But the way i see it, they always eventually do a 10% and quickly too. Usually...

Okay, its easy to test this.

XRP $0.687959
LTC $104.42

Lets say we bought $1.000 worth of each.

Our goal is to sell LTC after it crosses, say, $118. And to sell XRP after it crosses, say, $0.80.

Is that right? Should be correct.

And we dont sell it for Fiat or a stablecoin, we trade it for another crypto thats down about 10% in the past 7 days. And we rinse and repeat until we get skanky rich :D

Lets see what happens...

OK.
I was bought 2 Ltc at a price of $225, after one week it was $190, again I bought 2ltc and when it become $215 I sold all and bought a YouTube channel.

I will say, however, that while this can even be automated, id do the slave work because when time comes to trade a crypto for another crypto, you can always do a googlefuck to see upcoming news related to the few cryptos youre thinking of getting, and make an informed decision about which one to get.

Because various news about a crypto can easily give it a 10-20% move.

Yeah but... Okay on another thought my "strategy" here may be better served only during a bear market where things are down and dance 10-20% day in and day out.

During a bull market its kinda fucked because you can end up getting stuck with something you overpaid for for a long, long time.

But when everything is down, and it probably wont go much downer :p it should work.

what you're describing is called "gambling"

Yeah sure. But its not like black or white flip a coin type of activity.

Suki suki $30 dorra ;)

Lol

So what do you think about my plan Tom the Mister Cat? Should i order the lambo or not yet?
Not yet. Did some tests, made some scripts, but I've abandoned the project. In theory should work, but you also need to pay attention at the news if is fake or true. If you plan to test this one, do it with a few dollars and test. Of course, this could work 1-2 years, but if a crash happens and you are on the wrong side of the trade? The only option is to hedge on another platform and if you aren't fast enough, you might end up loosing.

What you can do is, to place some price alerts in %, over 5-10% and act accordingly.

Just bought $1.25K doge at a 16.7 price after elon bought the Twitter, already lost $70 :weep:

Yeah but dodge is like 15% up in the past 7 days. This is not how i taught you.

Bad student. Bad! :D

Im thinking of trying with $2k. Thats half and half, 2 cryptos at a time.

If any of them crashes, then i hodl it. This is why id only play with top 50 cryptos. The risks of any of them crashing and staying crashed forever are quite minimal, the way that i see it.

And especially if i play this now, while its a bear market, the risk is so tiny, almost non-existant, assuming shit doesnt blow up and a bunch of top cryptos just drop dead... or all of them. But if that happens we have bigger problems to worry about.
