too much blogspots sites in backlink profile

Hello guys,

short question, would you buy a backlink from a website which has good metrics in ahrefs and a lot of traffic, but got lot of blogspot buffer sites in the backlink profile (35 % are backlinks from blogspot and they seem to be buffer sites in order to buffer pbn links maybe)

it wouldn't put me off, but wouldn't exactly seal the deal. If it looks good in ahrefs and has a spam-free background, well apart from these links, I mean in Wayback, then worth a look twice I would say. Many blog spots get deleted as all they do is well, we know obviously. So if there is an update soon for this kind of spam, you'll ride the rankings as this site climbs back up, worst-case scenario.

Also, would also be worth looking into those blogspot sites.
Some of them are just aggressor sites that the webmaster really had no control over.

Worth it if it has a good profile with traffic.

Avoid if it is spam. Very danger.

Every single bigger domain has some level of that automated Blogspot spam. If half or more of the referring domains consists out of these Blogspots, then that might be a bit too much.

If it's just a few, ignore it. Literally every domain has at least some. 35%, to me, is acceptable.

yes apart from that 2.0, the backlinkprofile seems to be good

Sometimes they pass authority through strong web 2.0s and add several other trash links for diversity. So, you should check rest of the links to see if they are trustworthy. If the sites are good without those blog links, then go for it. If the entire link profile depends on them, then avoid it. You should also check the date of creation of these blogs. If all the blogs are created within a month, then that could be considered as spam.
