How to grow an old account?

I have my own Twitter account since 2012.
But i have only 12 followers
I am not active in Twitter.
If I want to grow my Twitter account to 10k genuine followers, what should I do (white hat).
I actually don't know the science behind it and I am not interested in political topics.
Can someone suggest me something or provide a article/guide etc.

This method still works very well on Twitter, but the engagement of these users is usually almost non-existent, despite good posts on topics suitable for the target group.
There's simply nothing like being really social on a social network to build good relationships in the long term, i.e. always getting involved in discussions, etc.

You are correct, but not everybody is ready to create time to build organic traffic in the way you explained.

Well what are you interested in? I would suggest deciding on certain topics and becoming one of the most active people regarding those issues. Tweet a LOT about that and other trending topics and issues, and take part in the discussions, Retweet and Reply. Don't forget to post pictures, videos, memes, and threads. Also use hashtags but most importantly is that Twitter community that i mentioned previously.

Get in touch with influencers, retweets can be effective from big accounts. 500 likes to 1k likes is assured if your tweet is engaging and interesting. Repeating it with different influencers will get you to 10k followers faster.
