Most freelance websites charge 20 percent fee. Gig4u charges 7% fee, the lowest (not sure if there is any other lower than this) at present.

They sell tools but also have a job board. I don't know if there are fees to apply but I haven't seen any.

Upwork fees go down as the amount increases. it's per client though.
I have a couple of recurring clients per month, and the fees are 10%. It goes into effect after the first $500 spent. It's wise to always reuse the first contract, as opposed to always creating new contracts with existing clients.
10% is not that much considering the benefits you get from such platforms.
And of course, if you have sharks paying you over $10k, the fees drop to 5%.
I, for one, would want to be able to pay millions of $ in fees to Upwork. It just means I'll make 10x more than that.

This forum allows you to have a sales thread as a freelancer for only 30.00 a year if you have the upgraded membership and you can also respond to hire a freelancer or want to buy threads with that upgraded membership.
