How do Top-10 Channels not get demonetized?

Let's say I want to create a channel where I'm reviewing movies and series. I'd be taking clips/trailers and adding meaningful commentary (voice-over) on my videos.

However, I'd be featuring 10 different movies.

I know all about fair-use, but I know you can still get demonetized.

Anyone have suggestions on this or a bit of clarification? What to avoid...etc

If you're in for the long run simply don't do this. Especially with movies or tv shows your channel can get taken down in a second.
Also fair use is not something YouTube cares about. It's super hard to remove a claim in general, let alone a claim from a big corporation.

I'm honestly trying to find a way where I can work on voice-overs separate from my main channel where I'm featured in the videos & the content is 100% mine.

It would be easier for me to reccord 30-min+ voice-over videos across several days & I'm positive I would rank for that particular language.

Any suggestions to still review TV shows and movies with voice-overs and have the least chance of being taken down?

I've the same question, youtube will easily block and delete your video, based on the content id attached to the video, i've seen channels doing something similar with no voice overs, jjust sharing clips, and they promote the movies purchase link through amazon, so it's not a problem if you get demonetized as long as you can keep the content alive.

Who says it does not work? It works as long as you add your voice, dont use clips longer than 5 seconds, try to combine video parts with photos and use a intro in every video.
Many YT channels ve been doing this for years.
If you wanna check for yourself if a channel of this kind is monetized do this: Right Click - View Page Source - Ctrl+f - monetized and if value its true it means it is monetized

use 7 second formula don't use clips more then 7 seconds and dont use picture more then 3 seconds many cash cow channels are doing this so use these formula

So, technically, 100% fair-use.

Definitely not fair use under YouTube. The content itself is not your own. Large channels often are with certain networks that have the rights for those type of videos.

I have had the same compilation video up for ages and it's monetized. At one juncture was making close to $600/month in adsense revenue. You have to make sure that the video falls under the fair use act. Look it up! You can only use short clips from videos and you have to make sure your video meaning is changed.
