De-AMP: Cutting Out Google and Enhancing Privacy

https://brave.com/privacy-updates/18-de-amp/
Brave is rolling out a new feature called De-AMP, which allows Brave users to bypass Google-hosted AMP pages, and instead visit the content’s publisher directly. AMP harms users' privacy, security and internet experience, and just as bad, AMP helps Google further monopolize and control the direction of the Web.

AMP is basically Google taking your content and serving it from their servers. If you do that you'll be instantly banned....by Google...

that can be done easily by deleting the "amp" part of the url. Takes a few seconds at best. Not really an awesome feature imo

The browser does it for the user, it's a big difference. You think grandpa even knows he's reading off google and not the original content creator?

One can create a plugin for firefo or chrome. Plus, grandpa really only needs an adblock plugin, amp is no big issue for him

Barto and Brave is still a better love story than Twilight :D

Really bro ??? :D
Before you Switch AMP Version to Non-AMP version manually Page would already be rendered and google already knew about everything about you

Well, then shouldn't even be using google in the first place :D:D

That way google even knows what you search for; no need for amp :D

yeah I prefer getting paid to see ads! even if its small amount (about 5 bux / month) it beats getting advertising suckage forced on you for nothing. Much better model
