If refunds are received, they can be carried out through the api or manually in your personal account. This is not a problem. It all depends on the volume of refunds. If there are more than 10-20% of them, of course, the account can be blocked, but what kind of business is it where there are so many refunds.

Not refunds. Chargebacks.
MID accepting transactions from sweepstakes can get 30% - 35% of chargebacks, if you have no idea what are you doing.

I saw 12% max and they were able to keep the MID for 3/4 months max. If you have this specific busiiness model (swpstakes), you will need to target below 6% chb rate in volume, and always 30 chbs per MID.

Refund rate is also important, you need to keep it below 20% It makes sense, because a high refund rate means you sell a fake product, a bad product or a scam. Visa/Mastercard cannot tolerate it so they also monitor this rate.

This is the most important part of c4labs post.
Sweepstakes is always generate very high amount of chargebacks.
Working thru one MID not an option, because your MID will die after few days.
hey, do u know some good MIDs that u can suggest? running my own network for sweepstakes and decided to open an in-house product for it in US and FR. Already got a few MIDs, but being honest it's not that easy to find a payment provider who can take that "middle and high risk" type of business. Thank u in advance

Hi,
Try to contact Netbilling. They working with high risk and I guess they will be able to find solution for you.

99% of all Sweepstake providers i have checked are masking the sweepstake landing page from the payment provider. The sweepstake card form is usually connected to a budget tool, streaming service or something similar, which the user is redirected to after payment. So in the payment providers eyes, the user is just buying the subscription on another website than the sweepstake landing page.
