I'm interested in making an indie-style channel that consists of some stories (or entertaining story poems) I've written. They will have either animations/visuals or illustrations with each one, voice-over and audio effects.
My strategy was to;
Release a first video which was about 'how to easily write a poem'.. I figure just build a few subs before releasing the first story, based on techniques I've gathered from writing a lot.
Release 2nd video - The 1st story video, which is a stop motion video about the life of a peg.
Release 3rd video,another story video, about a mouse and elephant.
And continue on in that fashion with more creative stories.
Any tips on growing subs or marketing approaches (white hat only) that has worked for others?
(People often say who is your target market, but really I'd like the content to be enjoyed by all ages. Some of it is simpler for younger audiences, but some is for more mature, general audiences. )
Thanks
