I'm not particularly experienced with YouTube so take my advice for what it's worth but here are my suggestions:
1. Quality
Buy a decent video maker tool if you're going to focus on YouTube traffic. You'll need to make many videos and this will be a requirement. I use video.wave which is pretty decent with a lot of stock videos and pics, but could be faster.
There was another tool called Vidnami, which looked really good and was like faster, but sadly they were bought by GoDaddy and is no longer available.
You want something that can spit out high quality videos quickly.
2. Clone Your Voice
Use Descript - Overdub to clone your own voice with AI.
This will allow you to simply input text scripts and Descript will spit out a voiceover in your own voice, and it's very good.
Make sure to train Descript very well by uploading a lot of recordings of your own voice. At least 2 hours or so if you want it to sound exactly like you.
3. Use Jasper For Video Scripts
Use Jasper or another high quality AI writing tool to help you create unique high quality video scripts fast.
Don't be lazy here and learn how to use AI properly. Don't just put in a single keyword or two and accept the first script it puts out. Look for suggestions instead for headlines and intros, and use it as writing
assistant rather than as a lazy 1 click source.
4. Be Consistent
YouTube won't promote your videos much when your channel is new. You need to set a schedule and produce good quality videos consistently, I would suggest post a new video 2 or 3 times per week.
5. Target Low Competition Keywords
As a new channel with no/few subscribers you won't be able to compete for massive keywords. Use VidIQ or a similar keyword tool, or hire someone on Fiverr to do keyword research in your niche. Focus on lower search volume keywords in the beginning and use them in the title and description together with other relevant keywords.
6. Don't Use A Standard Intro
People have
very short attention spans nowadays. They've been trained by TikTok and the like to want instant, constant and immediate action in the videos they watch, or they just click away.
You have to capture them instantly so forget about the idea of branding at the start of the video with the same boring intro (cool to you but not to others). Instead jump instant into why the viewer simply
must watch this particular video to learn about the keyword issue you have targeted in your video. Give them a big promise in the first sentence if they watch the video.
7. Market your videos
I gotta go so I'm not going to cover this in depth, but I wouldn't recommend buying views from SMM panels, although I may be wrong here. Others will know better.
If I wanted those type of views I would instead post a job on Picoworkers or Microworkers or similar sites and create a task where they have to
search for your keyword + channel in YouTube and then go and watch your entire video (make sure to ask for proof in the form of screenshots etc).
This will tell the YouTube algorithm that there are people looking for you, and will make them more likely to promote your video to others.
8. Create Amazing Thumbnails
One last thing for now is to use very high quality and enticing thumbnails. Look at at least 100 thumbnails in your niche to try and find a pattern and style that YouTube seems to like.
Ideally use an incognito browser while doing this, but it might not be super important. The problem is that otherwise YouTube will show you stuff that you normally watch, and it might not be the best representation of good thumbnails.
Google/YouTube can read and understand much more from a thumbnail than you realize, so think about every aspect of it, even making sure that if you use a person in it he/she is smiling etc.
Consistent high quality traffic is the like having cash on tap, so think long-term and try to create an evergreen channel you'll be proud of, and that where the videos will continue to bring you traffic for at least a year or two.
Good luck!
PS. Bonus tip. Don't use direct affiliate links in the descriptions. Instead link to a simple landing page on your own website that links to the affiliate offer. Once you start seeing traffic to that page you can perhaps re-direct that page to an affiliate offer, but even if direct affiliate links work, it's unclear they will in the future.
