Hi BHW community,

I have been wondering, to grow my reach in LinkedIn, should I be using the Creator mode?
If you are using it, could you let me know the primary difference from posting content without activating it?

And how do you target an audience for the content? By hashtags?

Hello,
Renewing this question.

I have creator mode turned on but I didn't like it or get anything from it so far.

I have it turned on just for fun, but plan to build my personal brand with that. Still a big room to become a Linkedin Guru, untapped :D

Heya! Well, creator mode does advertise itself as a means to grow your reach and influence on LinkedIn. Touching on the technicals of what it exactly does for you, your primary Profile actions update from "Connect" to "Follow". Of course the option to connect is still available for creators you know.
Your original posts also get highlighted when people visit your profile, and yes, you can add hashtags to your profile intro so people who visit your profile see what you're all about. If they jive with it, you'll likely get a follow from them.

You also get discovered more easily compared to regular profiles, access to tools that really just enhance how you can maximize your reach within LinkedIn.
While I didn't have enough energy to go too deep into it, I can see how it might help people grow a following faster than you would otherwise without it.

I just turned on creator mode last week. I don't have enough connections to do video content yet, which is ok by me I'm pretty camera shy. I would like to post some written content on there but I don't know where to start. I feel like I need someone to tell me what to write about or I get stuck trying to figure out where I want to begin

Thanks for the share.

I have it turned on, but didn't get any value from it.

I've been using Creator mode on LinkedIn since it launched and I absolutely love it! It's perfect for sharing long-form content, like blog posts, articles, and even presentations. The format is eye-catching and really allows you to showcase your work in a beautiful way. And because it's on LinkedIn, all of your connections can easily see and engage with your content. Overall, I think it's a great platform for promoting your work and building your professional brand.

I don't get it, isn't that available for "normal" profiles too? The articles, presentations, long format? Or am I missing something?
