Hello. When I look at the subdomains of sites with high authority such as Blogger, Wix, Weebly in Semrush, the domain authority is 0. Does this mean that such backlinks no longer work?

they hardly ever worked by themselves. would I include them in your ecosystem? yes, I would. For them to have much of an effect, you would need to make more backlinks to them so that they stand out and deliver some meaningful juice.

I would create all the web 2.0's that I can get my hand on, but would not connect them to my money site. I would make sure they are indexed first, would send some URL shortners, some PDF backlinks, etc. let them age. over the years, you can use them, either for your money site or for your other powerful tier 1 backlinks.

Thanks :)

Yes, those backlink works well and are effective only if they are maintained well. Don't spam it and benefits more if it's relevant.

Yeah, they are still working good.
Are you saying that it doesn't make sense for semrush to display 0 domain authority?

I will only enter articles that are not duplicates. I will not get any backlinks to 2.0 backlinks.

Use them as tier 2 links.

Build or buy some high quality PBN/Guest posts on real blogs/sites, and then build web 2.0s to those.

Though, PBN links/guest post owners can be finnicky about their backlinks, so ask permission & aim to build something of quality & not low tier spam web 2.0s.

Did you done any experiment yourself before asking? Please don't take it otherwise. Just try yourself and share your comments to other peoples :)

If I only link 2.0 backlinks to my own site, will it benefit me?

Yes that works fine when you built it with tier-2 links.

No, you need a diverse backlink profile.

You need links from multiple backlink sources and from multiple referring domains.

Thanks for your comment. I don't want to create tier backlinks. This is because my project is long term. Layer backlinks can create big problems for me with next google update.

I have checked 1000s of Web 2.0s and Google doesnt seem to be indexing any of them

Yes, web 2.0 backlinks are still a valuable tool for improving website rankings in search engines.
