Is toggle Good For seo

I saw this question in a blog and in Moz and I also had the same question in my mind, I am not the kind of person who just read and believe everthing that see on internet.

I think using an accordion toogle is good for UX and also for seo , the idea here is not to hide the content in order to try to cheat Google , the idea is to give a better experience to the user as you use a toogle in FAQ page the user will see just the question maybe 200 words , but our page can have more than 1000 words.

Last week I saw a website who has the fisrt spot on mi niche but it had few content , then I got it they were using a toggle in order to add more content into the page , but for the user the page was fine.

Conclusion : Toogle works for get a better experince to the user and also help to seo

Toggle usually uses display:none CSS property.

It is unclear how display:none is treated.

From my experience content in plain sight outperforms hidden content.

In case of your competitor, they might consider the hidden content if there is nothing else. Or they might simply be outperforming others with the visible part of content for other reasons (like greater homepage authority and topical relevance)

If your top competitors are using it, then you can consider using it then. So simple.
