To give some high level context, what I am attempting to do is to find all of the live Shopify store domains, especially new stores. Currently, the way I am trying to go about this is by using IP ranges tied to the Shopify Inc corporation. Here were I derived the list: https://networksdb.io/ip-addresses-of/shopify-inc
I know others have done it using this strategy, the only issue I am having is that I am not sure how to effectively obtain domain names/urls from the IP ranges I have gotten.
I have tried inputting the range on https://myip.ms/ but only one returns a valid list of domains (the one that works is the first 23.227.32 - 23.227.63.225)
Here is the list of IP ranges for Shopify stores:
For example, Builtwith claims to have 3,986,059 domains available from: https://trends.builtwith.com/websitelist/Shopify
However, networksdb claims to have 3,305,876 domains from: https://networksdb.io/domains-in-network/23.227.32.0/23.227.63.255
Another website, Shopgram claims to have 1,290,131 domains available from: https://shopgram.io/stores
I'd like to compile my own list so that I know that my data is reliable and also have a way to update the list as time goes on.
I am relatively new to this type of problem, so I am receptive to other strategies, other websites, or other approaches for doing this. Any suggestions are welcomed!
Again, my main objective is to obtain all live shopify store domains, have a way to update them regularly, and find new shopify stores.
