nah the Oscars have been slowly fading into irrelevancy for a good while now. at least i don't know anyone who gives a fuck about them. the only moment i hear them mentioned in everyday conversation is to say how bad the nominations were.

That medical condition is Alopecia, which in fact is "just" hair loss. It's not like she's having cancer or dying from it. She was bald many times in the past before her condition.
His reaction is totally exaggerated, especially after first laughing at it and I believe this has more to do with her "entanglement" than the joke itself.

Sounds like a lot of you have never been in a fight before where 2 parties start out neutral, one says something the other doesn't like, theirs a quick laugh, but not a haha laugh a "You dun did it" laugh than the adrenalin shoots threw you and next thing you know you've knocked someone out. To me, everything about this seemed legit and not scripted. Your probably going to see pictures of his face crop up online at some point too with a big bruise.

Well, fucking someone's wife or partner or girl is pretty much a meme in itself that it's considered "OK" kinda not really...
But, you don't fuck or joke about someone's health conditions; regardless if its was an new or past event or how public or vocal they are about it...

If it's that much of big deal why did Will initially laugh, only to look at his wife and have a change of mind. He's the kind of man you don't want to have an agreement with, because once they're home a look from their wife is enough to have them change their minds. They're like adult children.
Furthermore, some health conditions long as they're not life threatening are not a big deal. That's a fact. Some of us have such but since they're not that much of threat, we live with them.
The fact that your wife felt bad about something also doesn't mean you should go ahead to assault them, if this was outside and in the streets he could get shot for starting a silly fight.
I don't know what planet you live in to believe sleeping with someone's wife is okay. If it was okay, dude won't have been crying in front of the entire world (specifically those who care to watch him sob).

I honestly doubt it. If everyone would act like for every joke there wouldn't be a comedy. He knew where he was going to and Chris Rock makes jokes like that all the time, I doubt this will stop him. He should receive a felony and hand back the oscar.
