Does Ezoic/Google Adsense threaten anonymity?

Hello BHW,

If I'm running a website where I've taken many measures to stay predominantly anonymous, does using google adsense/ezoic threaten that realistically? Now I'm far from spewing terroristic messages online, but I have a vested interest in keeping the ownership trail of a website reasonably hidden, that people would really need to go the extra mile to unmask.

Have there been any documented instances of website advertising being the cause of identity tracing? And would they even comply with such a request?

The Google adsense I presently use is not in my name. But money goes to my bank account.

If serious criminal investigation involves your website, I think Google would tender everything in its possession when requested.

Sometime around 2018/2019 when Trump was still the president of the US, I remember one news website that was pro-Trump was haunted by the anti-trump mob, one of the ways they got to the owners and affiliated sites was through the Google adsense ads on the site.

I can't vividly remember how everything went, but I remember very well the mob went after the site through the Adsense ads requesting several things from Google.
