How do you plan which pages to link on?

Hello,
I'm new to blackhat stuff but not new to building sites. I want to try building blackhat sites on the side.
Can I ask how you guys decide where to point your links when buying PNBs? I can't seem to find a guide on how exactly to do this.

Try to keep it natural. So throw a good part on your homepage and spread the rest on your most important URLs.

You can get that data from the analytics of the site, and whichever posts seem to be popular at first. You can strengthen those up. Don't fight against what google prefers to rank your site for. You can also choose to link to pillar articles that are the foundation of links to many other product or category pages. But again, best select the pages that google ranks, as then it is much easier to go from good to very good, instead of n/a to very good, lol.

Also, by important URLs, do you mean huge pillar post or category pages? Because I've seen people buying a ton of links and pointing them to category pages. Which In my opinion is unnatural because on my white hat sites, I've never linked to other people's category pages and neither does other sites.

I suggest you to start with few backlinks like 5/10 and spread them over 15/30 days, and then increase more and more.
One thing that I also recommend is to buy or make yourself, some natural backs coming from forums themed with your niche.

That's the best starting point, but as always it DEPENDS on google, so unless you figure out any x=y in a niche, all you can do is operate on the best data you have, and keep pressing forward, testing and trying different links. I wouldn't worry about the measurement of your site, is the site completed, looking good, and starting to gain traffic? Only then is best to build backlinks, and only a few, to begin with, you should be growing your backlinks in proportion to your traffic.

Thanks for the tip! I'm actually trying this blackhat stuff on a site that I abandoned a year ago because i found out that the niche is super competitive. Then it suddenly starts getting traffic a couple of months ago(4k visits a month now with 28 post). The content and design is the same quality as my white hat sites so I'm confident it can compete with my competitors in that area.

it is good to build strong links for the homepage... then link to important posts. Interlink relevant articles this will prove effective as well

There are some good guides by the top SEO sites talking about this very topic. Read them and implement what they recommend. I also read Brian Dean's stuff as he keeps his posts updated.

As its beginning stage, add a few pbn and increase it gradually. Never add all pbn links to the same page, spread it equally according to page value.

I don't know the number of PBN links you want to buy, but assuming they'd be many.
Send about 10 to your homepage and spread the rest across pages with potentials; pages with impressions already(the higher the impression the better).

I hope, these PBN links are not the only links you intend sending to your website.

Regarding guides, there are a ton of them on the forum, search very well. There's one by @PHPInjected or another user with similar name.

At first, build strong backlings to your homepage since it is the main page of your website anyway. Then, from that homepage link to the most important content (featured articles). inside these featured articles you can link to other parts of your website. Always remember to keep topic relevance for better results.
