Hey folks,

I have a lot of content for my website right now, and I was wondering if I should just post it all right now, or drip feed it once a day or something.

Does content velocity matter at all?

Definitely drip feed. Consistency matters to Google. Format all of the articles and set them up to post once per day with the scheduler (if you’re using Wordpress).

Depends on the number of posts, if they're in the hundreds and up, you might want to post about 3 daily or so everyday.
You could schedule the posts.

But I don't think it'll impact on your chances of ranking that much. The only thing I've noticed is if you're site isn't strong enough some posts might not get indexed on their own.

This is what I did for one of my site.
I purchased the domain on Aug last year. Added the content on Dec.
Published like 50 post with random creation dates and time between Aug and Dec the same day. Submitted the post links to Google all links got indexed.
So you dont need to dripfeed, unless you want to.

I agree with this.

SEO-wise (and even safety-wise) it makes no difference. Where it might matter is if you're publishing all of your content at once and then have nothing more to publish for months. That might lose your rankings over time because your site is not being constantly updated with fresh content, but if you can keep it updated (at least weekly, or bi-weekly) after the initial batch-publishing then sure, go ahead and publish all of your posts at once!

thank you all for your insights! I see that the main reason for drip feeding is to NOT run out of content to post and update your site with.

It does, for sure. I learned that one should select a few magical number: let's say 03, 01 and 07. Stick to the magical numbers and post 03 one day, 01 next day and 07 on the third day. Repeat the process.
This is the most organic way

How much is a lot? Dripfeed max ~50 posts per day, I would probably post less than that.

You can post it all in one day, even Google officialy said somewhere that it doesn't matter.
